Planned consultation events
Inner Rochdale
There will be plenty of opportunities for people who live and work in Inner Rochdale to get involved in developing and influencing the long-term plans for investment over the coming months. A series of workshops based on the five themes of housing; employment; transport; environment and design are planned. These are designed to help ensure all members of the community have the opportunity to have their say.
The first of these events will take place in Spring 2008 at venues in the Inner Rochdale area. Local residents and businesses in the area will receive details in the post of consultation events and also details will appear on this Webpage. In Summer 2008 feedback will be provided to the community on the results of the Spring consultation and the issues residents and local businesses want to see tackled.
After the consultation in Spring 2008, further engagement with local people and local businesses will take place in the area as detailed proposals for the area begin to take shape. Details will appear on this page.

Langley, Middleton
Analysis of questionnaires from Langley consultation, October 2007
We used a variety of methods to consult local people on the proposals for Langley, including personal appointments for residents directly affected, and discussions with youth groups and other community organisations.
We are currently reviewing all the responses we have received, which will help us to amend the plans. We will publish a full consultation report in May 2008.
